Macildowie Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a leading not-for-profit organisation to recruit an experienced Strategic HR Business Partner. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded HR professional to drive impactful people strategies and support a values-driven organisation.

About the Role

As a Strategic HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the people agenda. Acting as a trusted partner to senior leaders, you will provide strategic guidance on workforce planning, organisational design, leadership development, and culture transformation. You will proactively align HR initiatives with business objectives, ensuring a high-performance, inclusive, and engaged workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver strategic HR solutions aligned with business objectives.

  • Partner with senior leadership to drive workforce planning, talent management, and organisational change.

  • Provide expert advice on employee relations, leadership development, and culture transformation.

  • Lead on HR projects and change initiatives, ensuring best practice and compliance.

  • Use HR data and analytics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

  • Support the development of HR policies and practices that enhance employee experience.

  • Champion EDI and employee well-being initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in a strategic HR Business Partner role.

  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and change management.

  • Experience in organisational design, talent management, and leadership development.

  • Ability to influence and challenge senior leaders with confidence.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach.

  • CIPD Level 7 qualification (or equivalent experience) is desirable.

  • Previous experience in the not-for-profit sector is an advantage but not essential.
