Macildowie are working with a client based in Coventry who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Location: Coventry, West Midlands
Hybrid/Office-Based: Office-based role
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with great interpersonal skills and a solid understanding of finance administration to join a thriving business. While previous purchase ledger and accounting experience is preferred, formal qualifications aren't essential - what matters most is your enthusiasm and willingness to get stuck in!
Key Duties:
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries
Processing supplier invoices and completing weekly payment runs
Managing weekly wages processing
Posting and agreeing expenses
Bank reconciliation and posting bank transactions
General finance admin and ad hoc duties as required
What We're Looking For:
Personable, analytical, and hardworking individual
Someone with excellent initiative and problem-solving skills
Strong communicator, confident speaking to suppliers and resolving queries
Purchase ledger and accounting experience is ideal, but not essential
Sage experience would be an advantage
