Job Title: Part-Time Accounts Assistant - 6 month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Towcester, Northampton
Salary: Up to £27,000
Type: Part time Flexibility - 25 to 30 hours a week - Hybrid working
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - Flexible with Start and Finish Times and Working Days
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take on a part-time Finance Assistant role. This 6-month fixed-term contract position is an excellent way to support the day-to-day operations of our finance team.
The Role:
- Maintain the purchase ledger in a timely and accurate manner.
- Process staff expenses according to required checks and analysis.
- Reconcile credit card transactions, ensuring compliance and addressing any discrepancies.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial records.
- Manage debtors and creditors by overseeing the accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Finance & Risk to coordinate with auditors.
- Actively contribute to building a strong finance and risk management culture, encouraging adherence to internal controls and processes.
